Eurovision Song Contests 2019 is coming to Israel after last year’s crushing victory of Netta Barzilai in Lisbon. Tel Aviv will host the contest and The Expo Tel Aviv will become the main stage of the event during 14-18 of May.
The total number of 42 delegations will arrive to Israel this year to represent their countries at the world-famous song contest. The list of participants remained the same as it was last year, besides Bulgaria that withdrew its request for participation.
The hosting country – Israel – will be represented at Eurovision Song Contest 2019 by Kobi Marimi, who won in the final of “The Next Star”.
Tel Aviv was officially confirmed to become the city where Eurovision 2019 will take place. Tel Aviv is attracting visitors from all over the world with its wonderful beaches, rich food culture and bustling night-life scene.
Tickets for Eurovision 2019 were announced to go on sale on later February, but no specific date was mentioned. We strongly recommend you to purchase tickets only through the official sources.
Around 20,000 tourists from all over the world are expected to arrive to Israel right before and during the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. The Arena of Tel Aviv Convention center is expected to have the capacity of around 9000 places. Others will be able to watch the contest up and close in the Eurovision Village which will be set in Charles Clore Park in Tel Aviv and will be open to public starting from the 9th of May 2019.
